Fiona Fairley

Fiona works for a non-profit organization as a Career Advisor, helping adult Albertans to find meaningful work. She moved to Calgary nearly 12 years ago from the UK. she has a particular interest in helping newcomers and their families to settle into Canada and become active members of their community and wider society, through paid or unpaid work.
Before her current role, she worked for Calgary Immigrant Women Association where she held various roles starting as a Program Assistant for a program that trains immigrant women,
Employment Counsellor, Team Leader role supporting a small group of youth and seniors counsellors in the One-on-One Counselling Program. Her passion is career counselling as I love helping others to find their passion and meaning in their careers, and she looks forward to guiding people from all walks of life onto a path that is true for them.
Wendy Auger
Director
Wendy Auger and is passionate about ensuring that families have the support and connections they need to succeed in the Calgary community.
With a background in Early Childhood Education, her work experience has been directed in the areas of children, youth and families..
She has worked in the not-for-profit sector for over 30 years in a variety of roles that support the delivery of family and community centered programming.. These roles have included pre-school educator, youth worker, and leadership\management roles such as team leader and 13 years as a senior manager in a not-for-profit organization.
In her career, she has been responsible for working together with partners in the development of successful family support programs that are based on the most current research. She has also been responsible for staff supervision, building collaborative relationships with funders and community partners and grant proposal writing.
It is her belief that we can make the most of the current time of change and transition to maintain strong, innovative neighborhood connections that work together to create a vibrant Calgary community.
Farhad Sh. Vatan
Director
Farhad Sheikhvatan is a Professional Engineer and Soil Scientist. He holds an Environment degree from the University of Calgary. He is a registered coach and International Shiden Kai Organization Canada Brand Chief.
He has been working with children and adult as a soccer coach Karate and Instructor in Calgary.
Farhad resides in Calgary with his wife and two children. Born in Iran, he immigrated to Canada with his family in 2008. He has extensive knowledge and experience working with children and families.
